Phi Phi Islands by Private Speedboat: The Version Worth Booking

Maya Bay reopened in 2022 after a four-year conservation closure. Daily visitor numbers are now capped. Every group tour from Phuket arrives at 11am — quota often filled, 50 boats anchored, water clouded by exhaust and sunscreen. A private speedboat departs at 7am. Maya Bay first, before the crowd. Then Pileh Lagoon — enclosed emerald water inaccessible to larger boats. Then snorkelling at Phi Phi Leh's east coast coral gardens. Lunch at an actual restaurant on Phi Phi Don, not a floating buffet. Back by 4:30pm.
